About us
Welcome to Mucky Boots Dorset - holiday home boarding and day care for dogs. We live in rural Winterborne Stickland near Blandford Forum. We offer a personal touch with exceptional care for your dogs in our family country home. We will attend to their individual daily needs with a friendly dedicated service. Established since 2013 and fully licensed to a 5-star rating with North Dorset District Council for home boarding. License number AB0006, we are experienced, first aid trained, insured, police checked, with excellent references.
We know that finding someone you can trust with your dog’s safety and happiness while you go away, even for a short break, can be stressful. As experienced dog parents ourselves, we will make your dog feel welcome and relaxed in our own home - absolutely no kennels here!
We have a wealth of experience with dogs of all ages and breeds, and form one to one relationships that build trust through kindness and affection. We nurture this bond with all our individual canine friends, who are delighted to see us and our labrador Barney whenever they return. Well known locally for our affinity with our dog guests and the love of the great outdoors, we are an active middle-aged dependable couple who enjoy running our independent business from home.
Luxury Holiday Home Boarding
We live in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Surrounded by open fields and countryside, where your dog can enjoy hours of endless fun, running, and exploring while out with us on our morning and afternoon walks. We know how important your dog's welfare is to you, and offer a warm and friendly welcome in our relaxed adult family home. They will of course receive lots of reassuring cuddles throughout their stay with us.
During the day they can explore and play in our totally enclosed, safe, large garden or sunbathe on the patio. To relax they can curl up in their beds in the day room or have a quiet snooze in the summer house.
For your own personal peace of mind you can look forward to regular updates via text/WhatsApp or email with pictures to see for yourself how happy your dog is on their holiday with us.

Dog Daycare - 8am to 6pm
Worried about leaving your dog at home during the day for hours on end?
You can drop your dog off with us in the morning and they will have constant companionship, with praise and cuddles through out the day. They will join us on our morning and afternoon walk, have a fun playtime and lots of valuable socialising with other dogs too. We also have quiet areas where the dogs can find a place to snooze and relax. On your return you will collect a happy, tired and contented dog at the end of the day.

HOME BOARDING
£49 per 24 hour stay (prices include a morning and afternoon walk every day).
DAYCARE
£35 8am - 6pm daily.
